Airlines/Boarding Passes/Lost Luggage
The front desk staff is happy to check flight status, print boarding passes, and help you acquire items that may have been lost in travel.
Amenities
Walden has curated signature amenities for your use while at Walden. The “Invigorating” line you will find in your shower area, and the “Balancing” by your tub. Please use as much as you would like during your stay. If you should remove a bottle from your suite, or if you would like to purchase, they are $30 each.
Appliances
If you should require a microwave in your suite during your stay, please contact the front desk.
Attire
Dress at Inn Walden is smart casual. Jackets are recommended and denim is discouraged when dining at the Barn, neat dressy attire is required. Appropriate attire is requested at the Clubhouse and at the golf, tennis, and swimming facilities. The Front Desk is happy to answer any questions for you.
Business Services
We can arrange everything from presentation aids to secretarial services. Please contact the front desk to make any arrangements you may need.
Car & Limousine
We’re happy to assist in arranging for a car or chauffeured transportation to the airport or any other local destination through a local livery service. Uber and Lyft services can be limited in this area. Complimentary service is available to our various facilities within the Walden community only.
Check-Out Time
Our check-out time is 12 noon. We will be happy to arrange a later departure, when available.

For assistance with local services, dinner reservations, child care, a notary public, recreational or cultural activities and other information, please contact the front desk.
Emergency
For a medical emergency, please call 911. For hotel maintenance, please contact the front desk.
Express Check-out
Please fill out the express check-out card in your welcome packet and leave it at the front desk at your convenience.
Fire Exits and Safety
Inn Walden meets all fire safety codes. The entire building is equipped with sprinklers and general alarm pull stations. They are located adjacent to all exits and are connected directly to the Aurora Fire Department.
Fire extinguishers are located in the hallways, and each suite is equipped with its own smoke alarm.
Flowers
The front desk can arrange for the ordering and delivery of flowers, whether to your suite or anywhere in the world.
Front Desk
The front desk is open from 7am–11pm daily. Staff members are on duty throughout the evening if you should need anything; please call the front desk.
Gratuity
As part of a private country club, all food and beverage is charged a 20% service charge. This 20% is used towards a higher hourly wage for our service staff so they are not dependent on gratuity/tips. Additional gratuities are strictly at the discretion of each guest.
Green Initiative
Hotels are massive users of our precious life resources, and so we have a huge impact on our ecosystem. We want to take responsibility for the use of our water, energy and land. If you would like to support us in this initiative, please contact the front desk at ext.0, to take part in our green program.
By enrolling in our green program, your bed linen will neatly be re-made each day, instead of replaced for your third evening.
Heating

Honor Bar
If you have enjoyed any of the liquors from your bar, please let the front desk know upon your departure. If you would like more of any item or would like something not located in your suite, please contact our front desk and they will be happy to accommodate your request. Our staff will ensure the proper charges are added to your bill.
Housekeeping
Every suite will receive evening housekeeping, or turndown service unless otherwise requested. If there is a certain time that you would like this service please let the front desk staff know.
Ice
Ice is delivered daily to your suite by 5pm. Should you need additional ice, please contact the front desk.
In Room Safe
Every suite has a safe located in the closet area. To lock the safe program any 4-Digit combination, use the same combination to unlock the safe.
Internet Service
Complimentary wireless internet service is available throughout the inn for laptops, phones or tablets. It is as easy as choosing “Walden Wifi” then slick the box to accept terms. Please contact the front desk for assistance in connecting.
Laundry
A laundry bag and ticket are located in your suite. Same-day express laundry services are available. Please contact the front desk at by 8am to arrange same-day express dry cleaning. One hour pressing services available as needed.
Lost and Found
Please contact the front desk for information or to turn in misplaced items that you may have found.
Luggage Unpacking and Packing
Our staff is happy to unpack and pack your luggage for you. Please contact the front desk to make arrangements.
Mail/Messages/Packages
We will deliver all mail, communications and packages to your suite. The front desk staff would be happy to mail anything for you.
Newspaper
A New York Times Digest will be delivered to your suite each morning. If you would prefer a different newspaper, we will be happy to arrange delivery for you. Please contact the front desk.
Pillows
We are happy to bring you additional pillows to make you more comfortable. Foam or Feather pillows are available upon request.
Room Service
Available 24 hours for your in-suite convenience. Please refer to the “Dining” section of this compendium and contact the front desk to place your order. a $12 delivery fee will be applied to your order.
Service Charge
For the enjoyment of our Inn guests and to avoid the inconvenience of normal gratuities, there is a 20% service charge on all food and beverage orders. Additional gratuities are strictly at the discretion of each guest.
Shoe Shine
It is our pleasure to offer shoeshine services. Please contact the front desk to make the appropriate arrangements.
Slippers
We are happy to deliver slippers to your suite upon request.
Smoking
Inn Walden is a smoke-free facility. It is the management’s goal to maintain the quality of the Inn and all of its beauty by providing this smoke-free environment. We provide outdoor patios and balconies for your convenience, and hope you will respect this request during your stay. Deciding to smoke in your suite will result in a charge of $500 added to your credit card.

Activities
Golf
Walden has a beautiful 18-hole private course. While the course is private, our staff will be happy to arrange a tee time for guests, subject to availability and depending on membership play. Please contact the front desk for pricing and availability.
Locker room arrangements can be made, and your clubs can be delivered to the pro shop. There is a grass driving range and practice greens. Charges will be billed to your room.
Club Walden policy requires all players to be neatly dressed. Our strict dress code policy is as follows:
Denim jeans or workout clothes are not permitted.
Metal spikes are not permitted
For Men: Golf style shirts with collars tucked into tailored trousers or shorts. Shorts must not be shorter than 3” above the knees. Hats are to be worn bill forward.
For Women: Golf style shirts with collars with slacks, golf skirts, or shorts. Short shorts, tank tops and tee shirts are not permitted at any time.
Spa
Experience Spa Walden’s beautiful full-service spa and salon with its state-of-the art equipment, array of individual treatments, packages and sensuous products. Our staff is committed to designing your spa experience to be personally tailored for your enjoyment. We have designed spa experiences especially for men and women and packages for friends and couples, as well. Relax and enjoy our private suites, our lavish service and the delights of privacy, relaxation, and total rejuvenation. Dial ext. 2772 to schedule your appointment, or to inquire about the next yoga class in the OM Studio. Spa treatments fill up quickly, advance reservations are strongly recommended.
Tennis and Swimming
Walden has four Har-Tru tennis courts, as well as an outdoor pool with bathroom facilities for changing. These facilities are located at our Clubhouse with complimentary transportation available. A pool valet is on staff during the summer season to assist you in getting comfortable and situated with anything that you need. Available Memorial day to Labor Day. Please come to the Front Desk for transportation and pool towels.
Exercise
Located on the lower level of the Inn, our exercise room is fully equipped for an invigorating, convenient workout. Equipment includes Technogym aerobic machines, stepper, and treadmill, free weights and various other equipment. Open 24 hours a day. Please exercise at your own risk. We will be happy to arrange a session with a personal trainer with advance notice.
Located at our Clubhouse is our larger exercise facility. It features LifeFitness weight circuit equipment, a cardio area, and movement studio. The weight circuit area has all you need, from free weights to a complete series of resistance training machines. In our cardio room, work out on elliptical trainers and treadmills as you enjoy a lovely view overlooking the golf course.
In-Room exercise equipment is also available upon request. Yoga mats, free weights, blocks and tension bands are available for your use in the privacy of your own suite.
Running, Walking, Hiking, Bicycling
Walden and its surroundings have some great areas to explore. Please ask the front desk for the best areas to discover.
DINING
There are many special dining experiences awaiting you at Walden. A menu to order room service is available upon request. Our staff will be happy to assist you with your reservations or room service orders — just call ext. 0. There are also many fine dinging venues located in nearby towns. Our Staff would be happy to share menus and directions upon request. Sample Menus listed may have changed for the season. The staff at the front desk are happy to arrange todays offerings for room service. All room service orders are subject to a $12 delivery fee.
The Barn
The region’s most talented farm -to-fork culinary offerings. Located in a restored 200-year-old barn, adjacent to perennial gardens, and overlooking the 2nd green Club Walden. The Barn is open Tuesday through Saturday for dinner. Reservations are available from 5:30–8:30pm. Jackets for gentlemen are requested, neat dressy attire is required. Shorts, sandals, sweatshirts, jeans with holes, active wear or similar will not be admitted into the dining room.
Our menu is guided by the season, available at local farms as well as what is in the garden. We have a farm-to-fork philosophy, meaning we like to serve food that reflects our “pick, clean and serve” approach. Dinner is served at the Barn Tuesday through Saturday evenings.
Club Walden
Dramatic walls of glass overlooking truly lovely views of Lake Walden and the golf course. A casual dining room serving from 11:00am to 9:00pm Wednesday through Friday. Saturday and Sunday the Clubhouse serves dinner only from 4-9pm and 4-8pm respectively. Winter hours are in effect January through April. Smart casual attire is required.
MEADOW ROOM Café
Located in the Inn, The Meadow Room serves breakfast daily from 7:00–10:30am and on weekends from 8am–11am. The Café is open for brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 11:00am – 1:00 pm. Room Service Begins 30 minutes after opening.
24 Hour Dining
We will be happy to offer dining in your room, 24 hours a day. Breakfast, lunch or dinner can be arranged from our various dining rooms during regular dining hours. We also encourage you to order room service from our “24 Hour” menu available for your late night cravings.
Lobby Bar and Library
Our bar and library are always open for your enjoyment. Cocktails, coffees and teas are served throughout the day. Evening hors d’oeuvres are from 4-7pm and can also be enjoyed in your suite. If you should like a cocktail from our Lobby Bar, the charges will be simply billed to your suite.

In-Room Music, TV & Movies
Uninterrupted digital music of your choice. Located in the 800’s, these channels are arranged by genre and range from country to big band.
Television channels can be found beginning on channel 2. A television channel guide will appear when pressing “guide” on your remote. Each television offers HBO and many On Demand options. Please do not hesitate to ask the staff for details.
The Theatre is also a great options when viewing a movie. This space is available on a first come first serve basis, and plays Netflix, and Amazon Prime Video. Please inquire with the Front desk if it is available during your stay.
