Walden happily announce the acquisition of a new Event Planner, Jessa Hochman. Originally from Medina, Jessa studied at Ohio University and obtained Bachelor Degrees in English, Art History and a Minor in French. After interning at The Cleveland Museum of Art for nearly 2 years, Jessa chose to try her hand in the event world. For the next two years, she worked as the Executive Assistant at Rock The House, where she learned all about modern event trends. Jessa excelled in her customer service and networking abilities.
Jessa has always had a desire to somehow be involved in the Event Industry and found her niche in in the ever-evolving wedding market. She calls it a, “fluke” that she was asked to write professionally about wedding trends for WEtv in their blog, “The Dubious Bride”. Shortly after, she went on to cover the Royal Wedding and celebrity weddings.
Jessa is a Member of the International Special Event Society and sits on their Marketing and Communications committee. In her free time, she donates her planning skills to local non-profits such as Medwish, Dogs Unlimited Rescue and the American Cancer Society.
Jessa is very happy to be here at Walden, saying, “While I have dabbled in many things having to do with events, what I am most passionate about is really discovering how to make an event entirely custom for each client. I am very lucky to have found a company that holds world-class service standards, which are very much in line with my principles as an event planner”.
