Looking for yoga?
Andrei Ram Om brought the wisdom of yoga from Bogota, Colombia. Participants from San Francisco, New York, Syracuse, Colorado, and all over Ohio brought the enthusiasm. Beginning at 8am, the group sat for meditation and breathing exercises. A delicious breakfast was provided at 9am. Then came discussion on the meditation and breathing techniques, a physical practice, and an amazing vegetarian lunch prepared especially for the group and the course. During the lunch break everyone enjoyed wandering the trails behind the Inn, seeing the horses, and taking advantage of the natural beauty that is Walden. Around 4pm, the group gathered again for more discussion about the practice and deeper principles to the more inner aspects of yoga (the part of yoga that is not so well-known, or understood, but is actually the most beneficial for daily living). Andrei ended with a final relaxation session and the day finished at 8pm.
If there was any doubt that Walden is the perfect venue for the practice of yoga, there is no doubt about it now. Not only is Andrei Ram an incredible teacher and guide into the inner dimensions of who we are, but the setting of InnWalden itself invites one’s connection to this inner landscape.
After 8 days of yoga practice, discourse, incredible food, and the surrounding beauty, participants from all over the country were able to relax and enjoy the full benefits of full spectrum practice, that is yoga.
